Here at Solent Turf we are specialist natural turf layers. We don’t offer generic landscaping services we just specialise in the production and laying of turf.
A rough estimate for a new lawn is £18 per sqm on average, however, there are so many factors which could affect that either higher or lower. So, get in touch today to discuss your needs!
You will need to water your new turf for 2-3 weeks. The amount of water needed will depend on the weather conditions. As a rule of thumb you need to keep it well watered but not flooded until it has fully rooted in. During extremely hot temperatures it is important to regularly check. It may need watering as much as 4 or more times a day at these times.
We recommend staying off your new lawn whilst you are initially watering it and the turf is still rooting into the soil. Once it has fully rooted in you can start using our new lawn. Factors such as wet weather or if your garden requires a lot of new topsoil may require you to wait longer before using it – to ensure the ground is fully re-established
